Munising Township is  located in Alger County which is in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  We are a general law township with a land area of approximately 200 square miles and a population of 3,125 as of the 2000 census.  Miners Castle and Pictured Rocks National LakeShore are located within our township. Please explore our website and let us know what you think.
