Information regarding Absentee Ballot Voting: In-person Absentee Ballot Voting will be offered Saturday, April 29th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Munising Township Hall.

Absent Voter (AV) ballots can be returned to our drop box, which is located inside the main entrance doors. The drop box is checked daily.

If you requested an AV ballot and have not returned your ballot, you can surrender your ballot or sign a statement stating that your ballot was lost or destroyed and vote in-person on Election Day.

Munising Township Clean-Up Day!! On Saturday, May 6th, Wood Island Landfill will be open to Munising Township residents from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Two roll-off containers will be provided during this time at Shingleton Community Building (Park Street). NO mattresses/box springs, NO tires, NO yard waste, liquid waste, or Freon appliances. Dumping fees paid by Munising Township. OPEN TO MUNISING TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY.
