Munising Township Hall Information

The Munising Township Hall is available for rent 7 days a week, schedule permitting.  The kitchen contains full size appliances, a microwave, a 30-cup coffee pot and a 12-cup coffee pot.  Excellent location for Community Clubs, Boy/Girl Scouts, 4-H, Baby/Bridal Showers, Birthday/Retirement/Graduation Parties, Family Reunions, Wedding Receptions, etc.  You must provide your own supplies (coffee, condiments, plates, cups, silverware, etc.).

  • Seats approximately 100 people
  • Air Conditioned
  • NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN HALL
  • NO ALCOHOL ON TOWNSHIP PROPERTY
  • 20 Tables (8′)
  • 1 Tables (6′)
  • 100 Chairs

  • All hall rental deposits are returned, provided there is no damage, and proper cleaning has been done.

Rental Fees

(to be paid in advance)

Events lasting up to 2 hours: $ 25.00

Events lasting up to 4 hours: $ 50.00

Events lasting all day (over 4 hours): $ 100.00

Organizations that are exempt from rental fees (Security deposit applies):

  • Non-profit and Public Service Organizations (unless used as fundraiser, etc.)
  • State, County, City and Township Meetings
  • Funeral Luncheons

Security Deposit applies to ALL rentals:  $100.00

Munising Township – Pavilion Information

The Pavilion is available at no charge and can be reserved upon request. There are 10 picnic tables and 2 grills at the pavilion.  A key is available, if needed, for access to a refrigerator, outlets, and countertop.


Township Hall – Shingleton Information

The Township Hall in Shingleton is available for rent 7 days a week, schedule permitting.  The kitchen contains full size appliances, a microwave, a 12-cup tea pot and a 12-cup coffee pot.  Excellent location for Community Clubs, Boy/Girl Scouts, 4-H, Baby/Bridal Showers, Birthday/Retirement/Graduation Parties, Family Reunions, Wedding Receptions, etc.  You must provide your own supplies (coffee, condiments, plates, cups, silverware, etc.).

  • Seats approximately 50 people
  • NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN HALL
  • NO ALCOHOL ON TOWNSHIP PROPERTY
  • 8 Tables (8′)
  • 4 Tables (6′)
  • 50 Chairs
  • 45′ x 31′
  • All hall rental deposits are returned, provided there is no damage, and proper cleaning has been done.

Please note:
Munising Township meetings have priority of building use.
Munising Township reserves the right to refuse use of the facility for cause.
Some rental requests must have prior approval of Township Board.
